The Conference fee includes the tour along the Riviera of Opatija and a visit to a number of typical Mediterranean old towns and fishing villages.

The accompanying person programme includes a visit to the City of Rijeka with its ancient centre, the Castle of Trsat and the oldest Croatian sanctuary of the Virgin Mary and a short tour of the surroundings of Opatija.

Optional whole day tours

Whole day tours will be organized for the accompanying persons if required.

1. NATIONAL PARK PLITVICE

A whole day excursion to a valley with 16 beautiful crystal blue-green lakes and 22 waterfalls.

Price: DM 95, lunch included. Minimum 15 persons.

2. TOUR ROUND ISTRIA

A visit to the ancient towns of Istria: Pula with its Roman Amphitheatre built in the 1^st century, Rovinj with the Cathedral of St. Eufemia and Porec with its old Mediterranean architecture. Istria is an idyllic peninsula with famous tourist centres and vineyards.

Price: DM 70, lunch included. Minimum 7 persons.

3. TOUR ROUND THE ISLAND OF KRK

The tour round the largest island of the Adriatic Sea, with a thousand-year-old history, includes a visit by boat to one of the smallest islands of the Krk archipelago, Košljun, known for its Franciscan monastery, a century-old high school, a library and a collection of rare pieces of art.

Price: DM 65, including wine tasting with ham and cheese snack. Minimum 7 persons.

4. BRIONI NATIONAL PARK

Brioni is an archipelago of rich nature and ancient monuments. It was the residence of the late president Tito and even today, it attracts politicians and other distinguished guests from all over the world.

Price: DM 100, lunch included. Minimum 15 persons.

5. POSTOJNA - PREDJAMA CASTLE (Slovenia)

The tour of the mysterious Postojna Cave world. Shaped and created by water, the 20 km long cave has been visited by more than 26 million people. In the afternoon, a visit to the Predjama castle, home of knight Erazmo, built on a sheer rock is organized.

Price: DM 85, lunch included. Minimum 10 persons.

6. VENICE

Famous and well-known city of Venice with the Saint Marco Square, Rialto bridge and other monuments.

Price: DEM 100, lunch included. Minimum 6 persons.
